The Results You Want. The Care You Deserve. The People You Trust.

Southern West Virginia Physical Therapy was founded by Chapmanville, WV native, Patrick Ellis. His goal was to provide quality Physical Therapy with a personal touch. Pat graduated Magna Cum Laude from Concord College and earned his Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Wheeling Jesuit University. He has been practicing Physical Therapy since 2001 and was thrilled to come back to his hometown to open Southern West Virginia Physical Therapy in 2003.

Pat opened a second clinic in Danville, WV in 2016 after realizing the need for personalized Physical Therapy in the underserved area.

"I saw a need to help people during times of injury and pain. Helping each patient physically and emotionally during rehabilitation with his or her specific need is important to me. I dedicate myself to providing the highest quality treatment."

Pat is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and a certified Vestibular Rehabilitation provider.

Pat and his wife, Heather, have two sons and are actively involved in the community, youth sports, and their church.

“I really enjoy helping people achieve and maintain their most optimal function. Since I was a little girl I always knew I wanted to help people to get better, and being a Physical Therapist provides a great path to do that.”

Kelly decided on a career in Physical Therapy after having many sports related injuries throughout her life. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training in 2010 from Alderson Broaddus College in Phillippi, WV. While at AB, she played collegiate softball on a four year scholarship. Kelly then earned a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from California University of Pennsylvania in 2013.
